Amidst the most beautiful cols in Ariège, in Biert on the D618 “Route des Cols” cycling hotel Les Deux Vélos (officially chambres d’hôtes/table d’hôtes) is located. The bike hotel has been around since 1991 (Dutch-owned since 2008) and is a thriving business with cycling guests from all over the world. Revenue is now derived entirely from the biking season May through October, but could well be expanded to include walkers. The nearest airport is Toulouse.

The cycling hotel consists of 4 guest rooms ( total 12 people) each with private bathroom and toilet, a dining room, small lounge and large kitchen where meals are prepared. Outside are several terraces where evenings are eaten, and there is private parking for guests and a large garage/workshop for bicycles. The private part of the house is on the 1st floor above the garage and consists of a large living room with open kitchen and opens onto the terrace at the back of the house. The upper floor is one room with sleeping area and bathroom. There are also a vegetable garden, fruit trees and an acre of land, with enough space for possibly a small campsite.
